For middle school youth & adult chaperones in the Diocese of Evansville
General Schedule:
12pm CST - Arrival, lunch (burgers, hot dogs, chips, and cookies), carnival games, yard games, live outdoor music, snow cones.
1:45pm CST - Music, keynote speakers, large group activities, Eucharistic Adoration.
5pm CST - Mass at St John the Baptist Church. Families are welcome to attend. The event concludes at the end of Mass.

Cost:
The cost to attend is $10 per person. All payments should be submitted to parish or school group leaders. Parishes and schools will be billed by the Diocese in the first week of October based on the number of attendees you had in your group x$10. How to Register:
Forms that are listed below must be filled out by all Diocesan Youth Day participants, and should be turned in to the designated parish or school group leader. Group leaders can keep all forms for their own records, and they do not need to be submitted to the Diocese.
*Note: If you have contacted your parish or school and do not have a designated group leader, you can still attend! Contact [email protected] and you will be assigned to a group.
All adult chaperones (18+ and out of high school) must have an up to date background check and must complete safe environment training through their parish prior to the event.
CHAPERONE REQUIREMENTS: For each group, two adult chaperones are required for up to 10 youth. For each additional 10 youth, 1 (one) more chaperone is required. More adults can certainly join. These are just the minimum standards. See examples below.
1-10 youth = 2 adult chaperones required.
11-19 = 3 adult chaperones required.
20-29 = 4 adult chaperones required.

Important for Group Leaders Only: Parish / school group leaders, please enter each participant by clicking the group leader registration form on the right. Diocesan forms should be submitted to group leaders. You do not need to submit these forms to the Diocese. All group leaders should have access to medical info and emergency contacts the day of the event.
Again, all payments should be sent to the parish or school. Parishes & schools will be billed by the Diocese in October based on the number of registrants x$10. |
Group leader registration form deadline is Tuesday, September 16. Please have names of all attendees entered by then. Late registrants and walk-ins the day of the event will be welcome, but do your best to register by the deadline so that we can plan for enough food and supplies!
