Itinerary & Features

We're working with our travel agency to finalize plans for WYD: Lisbon in 2022.  At this time, we hope to include visits to the Cathedral of Santiago de Campostella (where the bones of St. James are entombed), Santarem (the site of a Eucharistic miracle that can still be viewed today), Fatima (where Our Lady appeared to 3 shepherd children in 1917), and, if we can make it work with our travel plans and cost, a side trip to Lourdes (where Our Lady appeared to a 14-year-old [St.] Bernadette Soubirous in 1858).  More details soon.

Registration Information

Those wishing to attend WYD 2016 as part of the diocesan pilgrimage must fill out the official registration form and mail it, along with a deposit of $600, to the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry on or before May 1, 2014. Since WYD is several months out, spots may be available after May 1st. Those wishing to register after the initial deadline should contact Steve Dabrowski to inquire about availability of spots. Total cost for the pilgrimage is expected to be $3,600. Please click the link below to open the official WYD2016 Registration form:

Additional Information

Need more information?

Making the decision to join a pilgrimage this far in advance is not an easy one. It becomes even more daunting when the journey takes you overseas and comes with a pretty hefty price tag. We understand this, so we've made sure you have lots of information before you officially register.

Click here to listen to a Webinar with Chris Dube from Dube Travel and Steve Dabrowski, Director of the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This hour-long webinar provides more in-depth information about WYD, our travels, accommodations, and the due dates for future installments.

Click here to view a .PDF of the Webinar slideshow with Chris and Steve, It contains, in graphic form, much of the in-depth information about WYD, our travels, accommodations, and the due dates for future installments mentioned in the hour-long webinar.
