The Deo Gratias Society was established as a giving society of those who have financially invested in the mission of the Diocese of Evansville in a significant way.
Deo Gratias is Latin for Thanks be to God. This name is appropriate as we give thanks to God for those people who, having recognized all the gifts that the Lord has bestowed on them, have expressed their gratitude to Him by generously supporting the needs of our local Church.
The Deo Gratias Society is a community of benefactors who have taken a leadership role in supporting the ministries of the Diocese of Evansville through their generosity to the annual Catholic Parishes Campaign. Members of the Society are partners in a shared commitment to ensure that the Diocese will continue to have the resources to effectively bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people in our 12 counties.
There are three levels of support recognized in the Deo Gratias Society, differentiated by the level of giving. In addition to the spiritual benefits of supporting the ministerial and pastoral works of the Church, membership in the Society includes unique recognition opportunities at which Bishop Siegel can express his gratitude to members for their support.

They will also be invited to attend a special Mass celebrated by Bishop Siegel to honor their commitment to stewardship and their sacrificial gifts to the diocese. Finally, they will receive a semi-annual newsletter which will focus on stewardship in the diocese.
Lux Mundi(Light of the World)
