God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes its source. Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever his people sing his praises.

Music is an essential piece of the liturgical life of the Church. It is a sign of God's love for us, and for our love of him. With both communal and individual dimensions to it, sacred music can help to enhance both the internal and external participation of the people in prayer.

Diocesan Choir

The diocesan choir typically participates in three of the major diocesan liturgies throughout the year. Under the direction of Jeremy Korba, it is an all-volunteer group that is open to anyone in the diocese who wishes to gather to share in the gift of music.
