Natural Family Planning (NFP) refers to methods of family planning that can help married couples either achieve or postpone pregnancy.  NFP methods are scientific, natural, and effective!  NO drugs, devices or surgeries.

The Holy Family Center for Life (HFCL) offers NFP instruction throughout the Diocese of Evansville.

​NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING (NFP) IN 3 EASY STEPS
​

STEP 1:  All engaged couples in the Diocese of Evansville will attend a FREE Natural Family Planning informational Session titled ​THE TRUTH ABOUT NFP.  See below to register

STEP 2:  All interested couples can then choose to attend  another FREE course titled:  Introductory Sessions for Creighton Model Fertility Care and NaPro Technology.  See below to register

STEP 3: 
All interested couples can then choose to attend more in-depth training in Natural Family Planning by trained facilitators.  There may be a cost to this and registration fee assistance is available if necessary.

Note from the Office of Family & Life:  Classes are scheduled throughout the year for the convenience of our engaged couples and others who are asking for training in Natural Family Planning.  It is the responsibility of the class attendees to register for these classes as soon as possible.  Special class times are not available.  Thank you for this courtesy!

Required for marriage preparation in Diocese of Evansville

​A FREE, 1-hour Introduction to Catholic teaching on fertility and Natural Family Planning models
​​ ​2022 Dates​
  1. ​May 1:  5pm EST on St Celestine campus (See above flyer)
  2. May 15:  3 pm EST (Vincennes)
  3. June 26:  2 pm CST (Evansville)
  4. August 7:  3 pm EST (Jasper)
  5. October 30:  2 pm CST (location TBD)
  6. December 11:  2 pm CST (location TBD)

STEP 2:  Introductory Sessions for Creighton Model Fertility Care and NaPro Technology


A FREE, 1-hour information session provided by a trained NFP provider.  Topics covered can include fertility awareness, cycle irregularities, possible infertility causation, breastfeeding, menopause and more.  ($95 value)
