What is NCYC?

The Diocese of Evansville will attend the largest gathering of Catholic youth in the United States again in 2025!  The National Catholic Youth Conference will take place in Indianapolis on November 20-22, 2025.

NCYC is a powerfully unique three-day experience of prayer, community, evangelization, catechesis, service, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers (of high school age) and their adult chaperones. NCYC is the premiere Catholic youth event on a national scale that gathers people from all across America for a life-changing encounter with Christ.

The trip is designed to keep participant costs to a minimum, and the total cost this year is $435 per person. The actual cost is $560 per person, but with the assistance of two youth endowments from the Catholic Foundation, each individual attendee will automatically receive a $125 scholarship. The trip will include the conference fee, bus transportation to and from Indianapolis (including all transfers during the weekend), hotel accommodations for 2 nights, daily breakfast at the hotel, a commemorative trip t-shirt, a clear drawstring bag (only clear bags allowed in stadium and convention center this year), and a pizza option before bed both nights.

Registration Steps

The forms listed below must be filled out by all NCYC participants, and will be turned in to the parish / school group leader. Forms may be digitized by group leaders and submitted electronically. All adults must receive a background check and safe environment training before being allowed to attend this trip.
  1. Diocesan Youth or Adult Event Waiver (all participants) - Spanish version Renuncia y Comunicado de Eventos Diocesano
  2. Diocesan Medical Information Form (youth only) - Spanish version Informacion Medico
  3. Diocesan Youth or Adult Code of Conduct (all participants)
  4. The NFCYM will email a Liability Waiver and Permission Form to each individual registrant in October. This will be filled out digitally. (all participants must complete this)
The Diocesan forms mentioned above, and all of the above forms in Spanish can be found using the link below.

No group leader? No problem. Reach out to Jeremy at [email protected] and you will be assigned to a group.

Adult Chaperone Requirements: For a group of 10 or less youth, 2 adult chaperones are required. Another adult is required for each additional 10 youth after that. Groups are allowed to have more than the required amount of adult chaperones, these are just the minimum standards. See examples below.
1-10 youth = 2 adult chaperones required.
11-19 youth = 3 adult chaperones required.
20-29 youth = 4 adult chaperones required.

IMPORTANT FOR GROUP LEADERS:
Once your forms are collected, please manually input each participant using the group leader registration form below. Be sure to use correct spelling, spacing, etc.
