What is NCYC?

The Diocese of Evansville will attend the largest gathering of Catholic youth in the United States again in 2021!  The National Catholic Youth Conference will take place in Indianapolis, November 18-20, 2021.  This year's theme is "Ablaze ● Enciende el Fuego" (Click here to visit the official NCYC homepage).

The three-day event has been described by youth, priests, and other adults as "faith-filled," "action-packed," and, of course, "fun!" Participants enjoy some of the most amazing liturgies and prayer experiences during NCYC, and there are daily opportunities to hear the top Catholic musicians and speakers in the U.S.!

We will depart from two locations (Jasper and Evansville) on Thursday, November 18th at noon CT, and we will return late night on Saturday, November 20th (or early Sunday, November 21st).

The trip has been designed to keep participant costs to a minimum, and the $365 fee includes the conference fee, bus transportation to/from Indianapolis (including all transfers during the weekend), hotel accommodations, daily breakfast, a commemorative trip t-shirt, one group meal (Thursday evening), and pizza each night at the hotel before bed.

Registration Information

The first step in registering your parish/school group for NCYC is to complete the Diocesan Reservation Form.  This will allow OYAYA to place your youth and adults in the official diocesan group.  This does not replace the NFYCM registration that will be completed after you have received your registration forms (see below).  The Diocesan Reservation Form is what will be used to determine your group deposit and to ensure that your participants reserve one of the diocesan allotment of 100 event tickets.  Group leaders should click the button below to visit the Diocesan Reservation Form.

NFCYM will exclusively use an online registration system for the National Catholic Youth Conference. The online system is designed to allow data entry to occur at either the parish/school level or by the parish/school leader. The registration link will be posted here when it becomes available.

Payment Schedule:

Deposit: August 16  ($100/participant)
Balance due: September 13 (Remaining Balance - $265/participant)

Deadline for all paperwork: September 2nd
Deadline for substitutions/changes: September 13th

Registration Forms

In addition to the online group registration (to be completed by the group leader), the following must also be submitted for each participant:
  • NFCYM Liability Waiver and Permission Form (if different than packet version; available late Summer 2021)
  • Diocesan Event Waiver
  • Diocesan Medical Information Form (youth only)
  • NFYCM Code of Conduct

All diocesan forms can be found in the appropriate registration packets below.  Unfortunately, the NFCYM Liability Waiver and Permission Form has yet to be published, and it may be different than the one included in the registration packets.  If this occurs, group leaders will be notified to download the updated waiver that will be available below.  The other documents in the packets will not need to be resubmitted.    The Youth and Adult Registration packets contain all the information group leaders will need in order to register participants online once the NFCYM opens the registration portal.

Group Leaders, once your forms are collected, please manually input each participant using this online form, or by forwarding an excel file with all pertinent information based on this template.

Please note, the template is very sensitive on certain columns. Spelling & capitalization need to be correct on all answers for the form to be accepted.  Also, please be certain not to include additional spaces before or after names.
