Purpose of the Office of Worship
The Office of Worship of the Diocese of Evansville serves as a resource and support to the Bishop, the Bishop's Staff, and the people and institutions of the diocese in matters dealing with the liturgy.
The Office of Worship maintains contact and networks with national liturgical bodies including the Bishops' Committee on Divine Worship of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB); acts as a resource in the matter of liturgical law; and provides guidelines for the celebration of the sacraments in the Diocese of Evansville.
