Eligibility
Any high school student who actively strives to live out his/her Catholic faith is eligible to receive this distinction. It is recommended that a parish honor juniors or seniors in high school. However, grade or age should not be the sole determinant in selecting those to be honored.
It is highly encouraged that each parish nominate no more than two individuals, preferably one boy and one girl. You may also have just one nomination and in some cases none. Contact Jeremy at jgoebel@evdio.org if you have more than two people that you would like to consider as recipients.
Parish involvement should be heavily considered as a criteria for the recipient chosen. However, this is a recognition of the youth’s involvement in other aspects of life, including family, parish, community, and school.
